The sheep help to cut down the grass before breaking ground.
The 2000 m² field in Scotland is still being grazed by sheep. Whitmuir Farm will break ground this weekend and mark out the ground. Hopefully with a bit of support from the local community.
The 2000 m² field in Whitmuir, Scotland soon will grow vegetables for the local grade school.
The first crops are already planted in a polytunnel and will be transplanted to the 2000 m² field later. Currently the people at Whitmuir Farm are working on a big wall chart to display the planting plan. The crops will be harvested and cooked by the students of the local grade school.
