A presentation of research around the question of the future of food in the region. Undertaken by Åsa Sonjasdotter and Marco Clausen of the Neighborhood Academy, and invited artist in residence Brett Bloom. They have been interviewing small and large scale farmers, and gardening activists in the city, about the following topics: future of food in the region, food sovereignty, land grabbing, working with horses and fossil fuel free narratives. The first results of these conversations will be published in a publication provided at the event. A conversation between city dwellers and rural farmers is planned.

Brett Bloom is an artist, writer, organizer, and publisher. He works collaboratively with Bonnie Fortune on a range of environmental issues. He is a co-founder of the group Temporary Services, and their publishing imprint Half Letter Press. Bloom’s most recent book is „Petro-Subjectivity: De-Industrializing Our Sense of Self“ (Breakdown Break Down Press, 2015) Bloom organizes intensive camps and workshops for embodied learning and the collective practice of post-oil subjectivity.
