Weltacker Attiswil

The Weltacker is located on a small farm, the Bleuerhof, in Attiswil. Since 2019, the world’s most important arable crops have been cultivated here in front of the first Jura mountain range in the classic Weltacker style. Behind the Weltacker is a group of volunteers and a strong association. The project is managed by Peter and Rosmarie, who run the Bleuerhof farm.

In Attiswil, the team works out special focal points every year. After focusing on beans and other legumes in previous years, the World Field in 2024 was dedicated to the topic of “water”. There is now an exhibition with many interactive elements that allow visitors to discover the many aspects of water in our food and agricultural system. This content can be discovered at the big festivals, on tours with school classes and groups, but also for all visitors through interactive games on the World Field.

In Attiswil, school classes can book various workshops and tours and there is also a wide range of offers for adult groups. A visit to the Weltacker is always worthwhile, especially thanks to the constant development of the themes and exhibition.
