Weltacker Bern

Since May 2021, visitors have been able to experience how our food grows and the impact of different diets on the environment, climate and landscape on a 2000 m² cultivation area along Wahlenallee in Zollikofen. A place that invites you to think, learn and act – in the middle of the Rütti estate.

The Global Field can be seen from the air. The city of Bern is in the background and the Swiss Alps can be seen behind it.

A place for networking

Thanks to its proximity to INFORAMA Rütti, the vocational training and competence center for agriculture of the Canton of Bern, and the University of Applied Sciences for Agriculture, Forestry and Food Sciences (HAFL), the location offers an ideal breeding ground for mutual support and knowledge exchange.
