Jardim Cósmico on the way to becoming a world-class field?

The Jardim Cósmico is located in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, in the rural region between the cities of Divinópolis and Carmo do Cajuru. The garden can be reached in around 30 minutes by public transport from the bus station or city center of Divinópolis. The capital of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, can be reached in around two hours by car.

The Jardim Cósmico initiative aims to promote inclusion, experiential education and sustainability in the city of Divinópolis. We want to bring together professionals from the social, educational, cultural, construction and art sectors with people interested in developing inclusive and nature-based activities for individuals, families, communities, schools and businesses.

The Jardim Cósmico has a 3000m² area for outdoor activities. The garden is surrounded by a nature reserve, water sources and a stream.

The Jardim Cósmico team has set itself ambitious goals. Their inspirations are: the 2000m² world field project, the inclusive aspects of the Camphill community model and biodynamic agriculture as well as experiential education.

The project is in the preliminary phase (2023-2025) and is already taking on a lot of responsibility in April 2023, 2024 and 2025. The team is organizing their first get-togethers – the first, second and third outdoor weeks – with gardening, camping, culture, music, philosophy, crafts and education. The Jardim Cósmico aims to be an inclusive platform for solidarity and co-creativity.
