可惜的是我们并不知道这两头猪的名字。他们是欧洲2.6亿头猪以及全球13亿头猪中的两头。人们通常认为欧洲消费者每年约消耗40公斤的猪肉。如果这两个家伙重约115公斤的话，他们只能够满足5个欧洲人的需求。
每公斤猪肉大约需要9平方米的土地来种植小麦、大豆、玉米和其他的作物来作为猪的食物供给。这就意味着这两头猪实际上将吃掉这块地上的所有食物。除此之外，在它们短暂的一生中还需要喂5次抗生素。
顺便说一句，《欧洲动物福利条款》规定我们的2000平方米的土地上只能饲养2000头猪，也就说一平方米一头成年猪。
